Back on the island and back in San Diego and all, like...almost NEVER watched TV. But something about this place like almost glues me to the TV. I mean, I spend a lot of time outside now and everything, but like...somethings, I just can't stay away from the TV! And you know what I blame? CAKE BOSS! Has anyone watched that show? Omg, it's amazing! I love cake as it is, but that show makes me like OBSESSED with cake and I totally want to try to make cakes with like fondant and everything like that. Who wants to help me?? I also juuust finished watching like Amazing Wedding Cakes and Wedding Cake Wars and DC Cupcakes! When and if I ever get hitched, I want a cake like this or this or something. Omg SO cute! I have like cake fever!

Okay, so I totally miss surfing and it's tooooo cold here for me, but I actually really like it! I mean, it's BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait to see the snow! Granted, i haven't been around snow much at all but it'll be fun.

Sooo...everyone should go here because this is awesome. Some of it isn't true, but some of it is so freaking cool! And there's also this for your name and stuff. I had nooo idea that my name meant lamb. But that, I could've found out anywhere. The number thing is really cool, but I have to say...I totally can't agree with most of the stuff they say for that. Like order, service and management? And I yield responsibility? Maybe my parents gave me the wrong name... Either way, I think it's pretty cool.

Hoooly crap! A trainer got killed by a killer whale at Sea World today! My God, that poor woman! And that poor audience that was watching that! And man, I really hope they don't kill the whale!

Speaking of whales...I kind of want a pet, I think. I'm just not sure what. I feel kinda bad having a dog here since I wouldn't really be able to just let it run around, but dogs are so cute. And I'd rather adopt a dog than buy one. Plus, I have a roommate now sooo I don't want to overwhelm her with a dog or anything. Hmm...

You know who I think is gorgeous? Portia de Rossi. Her and Ellen are such a cute couple! But I never knew that she was anorexic! But I guess looking back at pictures, it's kind of easy to see how painfully skinny she was though. It's great that she was able to overcome it because now she's healthy and completely beautiful! Oh and I can't wait to see Ellen on Idol!

I know this has nothing to do with that...like at all, but I'm so excited to head home in April. I haven't been home in years and I get to go not only for my grandma's 85th birthday party, but also a wedding of one of my high school friends. I can't wait! I love weddings!

Sometimes I wonder where these guests come from. Today, I gave surf lessons to these twin college guys and one of them actually tried to pinch my ass! And then they laughed about it! I mean, it's not like a huge deal or anything since I didn't let him do it, but come on, who does that?

OH! I can't believe I forgot to post this picture! Last week, I was walking to the Pavillion and saw a freaking coconut crab. ( These are so creepy! )

Text to Josh on Christmas morning

Are you crazy!?!

I totally have to agree with what Josh said about family being here and all that fun stuff. I have to admit that I'm really happy to see my parents. And even happier to see Scottie actually talking to them, even if it is awkward... I knew it would be a little weird being on the island for Christmas for the second year in a row and it's a little sad that Scott and I don't get to see our extended family and our friends from home, but we have our parents, we have each other and we have all the friends we made here at the resort. So I like to think that we're pretty damn lucky!

I know Sally already mentioned Brittany Murphy and I just have to take a second to say that the news was heartbreaking! I'll forever think of "rolling with the homies" and think of her. They're saying now that she most likely died from natural causes. What an awful time for this to happen!

Anyway, since I already stole stuff from other people's entries, here's something from me! This is totally cute and will hopefully put everyone in the holiday spirit! Merry Christmas! If you make one, post the picture here so we can all see it!

Just like last year, I'm going to be making a tofurkey tomorrow if anyone would like to join! I'll also have veggies, desserts and these awesome biscuit/roll things. Let me know if you're in!

I can't believe it! I just got my second wedding invitation in the mail here in the past 2 months. I thought the whole marriage wave with my friends was over buuut I guess not. I love weddings though, they're so exciting! The only thing is that I can't really afford 2 plane tickets, you know? One if the weddings is in April and the other is in June sooo it kinda sucks that they're not like...the same week. One of them is a close friend from high school and another is an old roommate. Alan, I think you might know her. Remember Justina with the short, spiky pink hair? She divorced that guy with the nose ring and is apparently marrying some lawyer. Totally never expected that!

You know what I don't get? This vampire trend. Is it just me or is anyone else completely...lost when it comes to it? I've heard that some of the shows like that True Blood show are pretty awesome, but everywhere I look now, there are pictures of that kid who plays Edward Cullen and all sorts of vampire stuff. There's even a vampire sex toy! Iiii don't get it!


PS Everyone looked awesome at the party! We should have costume parties more often, I think.

So apparently, Amy Winehouse got a boobjob! I don't really know how that's possible since I'd think she'd like...fall over with the extra weight and everything, but I think she's looking pretty fabulous! Now, let me get one thing straight. I'm totally against plastic surgery and all unless you have a deformity or were in a car accident and all. But at the same time, I know that there are millions of people that have gotten plastic surgery of some kind, especially celebrities. And hey, if Amy Winehouse needs fake boobs to bring some life into herself, well...then I guess that's okay. As long as she stays off the crack! But at the same time, implants are scary things! On that MTV show The Ruins the other day, one of the chick's implants popped! Can you imagine that?

Either way, I think people should just be comfortable with who they are. And if you're not? Well, improve yourself in safe, healthy ways!

I don't know if anyone knows who Mika is, but I've been listening to him for a couple of years now and I absolutely adore him! His music is just so....fun and feel good but at the same time, he has some totally meaningful songs that are deep and actually can get to the point of almost depressing me. Now, not really depressing me, but ya know. Anyway, he did a cover of Poker Face and I can't stop listening to it. So damn catchy!

Anyway, I know it's early, but I'm trying to decide on what to be for Halloween so I can order my costume ooor try to make it, though that won't happen, I'm sure. Any ideas?

Those fires in California are just awful. And to top it all off, there's a major hurricane heading to Cabo San Lucas. Man, September is just not starting well at all, is it? It'd be great if some of the rain from the hurricane traveled up to Los Angeles, but apparently, the possibility of that happening is slim to none. I feel so bad for all of the people who are losing their homes and everything in the fires. I know that there are worse natural disasters out there and that possessions can be replaced, but that doesn't make it any less upsetting for the people going through this. Plus, a few firefighters have lost their lives. Let's just hope that no one else does, right?

Another depressing thing is the death of DJ AM. Man, that poor guy went through so much with that plane crash last year and he was apparently going to start rehab but then he died. This summer has been crazy with deaths, hasn't it?

In more amusing news, Eminem apparently has a tiny dick.
